Dead by Daylight’s mascots, and arguably the game’s biggest draw, are its ever-growing roster of terrifying killers. Some of them are true abominations of nature, while others are just evil human beings. They each have their own design and gameplay appeals, but only a handful can hold the coveted Most Played title. According to the publisher and developer of Dead by Daylight, Interactive Behaviorthe most played killer in Dead by Daylight since the game’s sixth anniversary in 2022 in the Huntress. Right behind her, in second place, we have the Trapper and bringing up the rear in third, we have the Spectrum.
It’s not hard to guess why these three killers get so much game time. For one thing, all three are included in the Dead by Daylight base game for free. While there are more interesting killers out there, you definitely can’t beat the allure of killers that you don’t have to pay extra for.
Additionally, these three killers have relatively simple gadgets, especially compared to some of the more savage killers like the Dredge or Pyramid Head. The Huntress throws hatchets, the Trapper sets traps, and the Wraith becomes invisible. These are all fairly simple abilities, which is probably why the Trapper and Wraith in particular are two of the three easy rated killers in the game. depths that experienced players can use.
