According to prominent gaming journalist Jeff Grubb, Sony is gearing up for a show sooner than fans would expect. On the latest version of the GamesBeat Decides podcast, Jeff Grubb states that he has heard from multiple sources that he may be brewing a new show scheduled for the first week of June.
As for the content of the show itself, Jeff Grubb hasn’t revealed much about it. He has stated that he has heard the news from multiple sources, but cannot confirm it himself. It may be skull and bonesor maybe Obligations could appear at the event as well.
When fans hear about an upcoming Sony event, the first thing that comes to mind these days is none other than God of War: Ragnarok. The much-anticipated title is scheduled to release later this year, and fans are dying to hear more about the title.
- PLUS: PlayStation Studios has released more Xbox games than Xbox itself
There have been a number of rumors about the game possibly being delayed, but Sony has reiterated the title’s release window over and over again. The most recent update we received was just a few days ago, where it was said that God of War: Ragnarok In fact, it will arrive in 2022, but as of now, the game is not ready to be shown.
Sony should definitely have a show very soon, considering the fact that it’s been quite some time since we’ve heard from them. However, whether that will be before the Xbox show or after remains to be seen.
