Taking the opportunity that version 2.0 is progressing well, Mines of Dalarnia (MOD) wants to sketch and send to the community a cost model that will operate in their game world.
Mines of Dalarnia uses a “Freemium” model, which means that all users have free access and use a limited portion of the game. After experiencing, if players want to conquer the rest of the game, they will need to pay a very small fee to own another Mining Passport. These passports will be represented by an NFT held in a Binance Smart Chain wallet address.
- The “Free-to-Play” planet will be open to everyone, whether they have a passport or not. This planet will contain only a small amount of the most basic ingredients.
- If you want to go deeper into the game, users need to have an NFT mining passport. They will be given full access to other areas of the game including Terra Prime and all the planets the project will release in the future. The cost of a mining passport will be about 20 USD. They will be released before the platform announces the official game version.
- Mining lots acquired by users during the first land sale (January 2022) will appear on the planet Terra Prime, the first planet available to mining passport holders.
- Mining passports will be like any other NFT – players can transfer or trade them on secondary markets.
- Mining Ape NFT holders will airdrop a Mining Pass. Details will be updated later.
Although players need to pay a small initial cost to own a mining passport. However, Mines of Dalarnia believes that this amount is not worth much as it will give users a number of competitive advantages over other Play-to-Earn products on the market:
- Typically, the startup cost of having a team play in a fighting or card game can be several hundred or even several thousand dollars. But in MOD, everyone’s startup costs are equal – 20 USD. Therefore, the project has taken into account and removed the entry boundary, making everyone have the same starting point.
- By creating a potential economy, players can quickly “payback” and continue to make a lot of profits in the future!
