The main reason is because there is no super easy and fast way to create a survey, send it out, track feedback and show results to people.
After using some online tools, one method I like to create simple surveys to send to friends or family is to use Google Forms. It allows you to create completely customized surveys or forms, send them to anyone, and keep track of all their responses in one place. In this article, I will show you how you can use Google Docs to create your own surveys easily.
Before we begin, it's worth noting that there are two ways to create forms in Google Docs. The first way is to create a new form from Google Drive and the second way, in my opinion, it is better to create a form from Google Sheets, which will link the spreadsheet to the form and upload all data to the worksheet for analysis. after.
Start a form
To create a form from Google Sheets, go ahead and click the Insert tab and then click Form.
A new tab will open with the form panel. Here you can start adding questions, etc., which I will explain further. You will notice that when you return to your spreadsheet, you will see a message that a new form has been created. Additionally, if you click on the Form tab, you will be able to edit the form, submit it, view the live form, and so on.
You will also see a new sheet in the called worksheet Feedback form, that's where all the answers to each question will be saved.
To create a form from Google Drive, click the large form New Left button or click My drive, later New file and then click on Google Forms.
Create a survey form

The middle section is actually where you create the form. By default, you have created a form from a spreadsheet, which will be named with the same name, but you can change it. Below you can give it a description and below are the actual questions. By default, the first question is a multiple choice option. Go ahead and click on the question and it will expand so you can customize the question.
Ask your question a title and then add some help text if you want to clarify something or add some information to the question. The kind of question is the cool part! You can choose from a range of different options like Text, Paragraph Text, Multiple Choices, Checkboxes, Select from List, Ratio, Grid, Date and Time.
