Tonight is the grand finale of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2022 live from Turin – and again this year hundreds of millions of people from all over the world, beyond the borders of Europe, will tune in. As in previous years, you don’t necessarily have to watch the TV program, you can also enjoy the musical evening as a live stream on YouTube. The HD stream begins at 9 p.m. and should also reach millions of viewers there.
After the ESC 2020 was completely canceled for well-known reasons and had to take place on a smaller scale in 2021, tonight on the big stage in Turin (Italy) it’s finally going on in a big way. Dozens of countries will be represented at the 66th Eurovision Song Contest and, as is well known, not all of them come from Europe. A total of 40 countries, including Australia, sent their musical representatives to Italy. Russia was excluded for this year.
In the grand finale, which takes place tonight, 25 countries will present their songs on stage and all 40 participating countries – including those that were unable to send their performers on stage due to the semifinals – will choose the winner. Although I’ve always felt like I’ve been watching the ESC and I’ll be there this year too, I have no idea who’s competing for D, A, CH. Nevertheless, of course we all hope for many “12 points go to Germany!”.
We can be curious how the scoring will look like in the end, which fortunately was modernized some time ago and kept much more exciting. For weeks, however, it has been said that it is not a question of whether Ukraine will win, only by how much. Or will it be completely different? We’ll find out tonight.
Live stream of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 from 9:00 p.m
The entire Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be broadcast live in the stream above and should attract several million viewers again this year. Since the Eurovision Song Contest is also very popular outside of Europe and is not broadcast on TV everywhere, the rush is usually huge. In 2016, the Eurovision Song Contest was broadcast on YouTube for the first time and immediately attracted 2 million viewers. At that time it was the third largest live stream ever on Google’s video platform.
The stream starts at 9:00 p.m. and shows the entire show including scoring and of course without commercial breaks.
