“This is annoying,” Musk said. “Twitter is devoting resources to NFT integration…while crypto scammers are still spamming Twitter constantly.”
Twitter is spending engineering resources on this bs while crypto scammers are throwing a spambot block party in every thread!?

Twitter recently Start work access to the NFT profile picture (PFP) for its users. Some user accounts were able to display NFT images.
Twitter says that the NFT images have been verified on OpenSea and are only available to members of the Twitter Blue subscription service.
Musk’s criticisms of Twitter’s NFT integration are likely due to the fake accounts that often impersonate the Tesla CEO and other celebrities to promote crypto scams.
In 2020, an Elon Musk impersonator stole $2 million in crypto from a giveaway promotion.
