Binance launched the BEP2 token pegged to Bitcoin

The world's leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance has just released an unscheduled maintenance notice. The crypto community is showing great indignation because many people still have open positions.

On February 19, Binance posted a notice of unexpected maintenance on Twitter, but did not specify the reason and how long it would take.

Binance undergoes emergency maintenance

A notice from the exchange's website states that the platform is undergoing temporary system maintenance. All operations, including deposits, withdrawals, all types of transactions and internal asset transfers between accounts have been suspended.

However, trading on Binance Futures still works despite this problem. The company promised to do its best to continue trading as soon as possible.

“The property is safe,” Changpeng Zhao (CZ) – Binance CEO, tweeted and added:

“Unexpected system maintenance. Stopped trading. We are doing it. ”

Community not satisfied

The majority of users in the cryptocurrency community are dissatisfied with this move by the world's leading crypto exchange.

Some people say they have open positions. Others claim Binance is unprofessional for not offering specific system maintenance time.

Renowned cryptocurrency analyst Michael van de Poppe appears to have a grudge against Binance – he has previously criticized the exchange adding new trading pairs to leveraged trading while the website's functionality remains There is still a lot to improve.

Now, he continues to criticize Binance and ask CZ to provide an investigative report on the reason for subsequent maintenance.

“Unbelievable. That is the problem that Binance often encountered. However, they still continue to add trading pairs for leverage. The priority seems to be letting you lose money as quickly as possible. ”

“Can we wait for an investigation report 2 for a few days?”
